David Slater 3 1/2" Gunmetal Fly Reel - Model 226 7'3" These reels were made fromFor sale here is a fine example of a 3 1 2" leaded reel made by David Slater. Model 226. Nice original gunmetal finish. Winds fairly smoothly with a slight wobble. Unfiled smooth brass reel foot is 3" long. Nickel plated brass pillars. Very clean aluminum spool. Original handle spins freely. Click pawl consistently strong in either direction, so this can be fished RHW or LHW. Reel weighs 8. 9oz. Someone needs to be fishing this reel.
